Industrial Automation Enclosure Fabrication
Automation projects run on tight schedules, and the enclosure is usually the last item on the drawing set. When the machine is ready and the cabinet is not, everything stops. We fabricate automation enclosures, guards and control cabinets from your drawings in Huizhou, China, with short prototype lead times.
What we make for automation integrators
- Control cabinets and electrical enclosures
- Machine guards and safety covers
- HMI and operator panels with cut-outs
- Machine base frames and mounting plates
- Conveyor and gantry covers
- Weldment frames and brackets
Related parts: electrical cabinet, protective cover, operator panel, equipment bracket, cabinet assembly.
Built for late design changes
Automation designs move. Cut-outs shift, sensors get added, and a panel that was final last week needs a new hole this week. We keep this practical:
- No tooling trap. Laser cutting means a geometry change costs a new program, not a new die. Late changes are cheap up to the moment we cut.
- Fast first articles. A single enclosure typically ships in 5–10 days, so you can validate fit before the machine ships.
- Pilot then scale. Once the design is frozen, the same drawing runs as a production batch with the same tolerances.
Where automation enclosures go wrong
- Cut-outs that do not clear the component. A 22 mm pushbutton needs more than a 22 mm hole if there is a locking ring. We review component cut-outs against datasheets at the drawing stage.
- Panels that flex under cable load. Long cable runs pull on gland plates. We add stiffening or a separate gland plate where the layout calls for it.
- Doors that drop. Heavy doors on small hinges sag. Hinge rating and door mass are worth checking before production.
- Finishing that hides the earth point. Bonding studs must be masked before coating, or the panel will not earth properly.

Quality control
Incoming material, first article, in-process and outgoing inspection. Cut-outs and mounting patterns are checked against the drawing; panels are checked for flatness and paint finish before packing. First-article parts can be sent for your approval before the batch runs.
Frequently asked questions
Can you build a one-off enclosure for a prototype machine?
Yes, and that is a large part of what we do. Laser cutting and CNC bending are economical at quantity one, so nothing forces you into a minimum batch.
Can you supply just the sheet metal, without electrical assembly?
Yes. Most customers take the enclosure and assemble the electrical side themselves. We can also supply part-assembled units.
Do you handle the panel cut-outs for specific components?
Yes. Send the component datasheets or the cut-out dimensions and we will place them on the drawing, including clearance for locking rings and connectors.
